Heard these beautiful lines from a pastor (interpreted from Bible) –
Purpose of Marriage is not to find love
But…
It is to learn how to love.
The point being you learn it by unconditionally loving your spouse.
To add on, here is a question – Where do you use this knowledge of ‘how to love’?
The answer is again there in bible – You use it for loving you children.
Because as per bible, your children do not belong to you. They belong to GOD and YOU have been given the responsibility by HIM to love and nurture them.
